Curtis is recognized as an accomplished vocalist and musician and possesses years of experience in the area of vocal performance. 

Additionally, Curtis has many students, to which he provides vocal, beginner guitar and/or bass guitar instruction as well as recording studio services.

He has been an integral part of the house band at the Grapevine Opry for over 20 years where he has performed bass guitar and vocal duties.  He was chosen, by the Grapevine Opry Association’s artists and members, as “Most Valuable Professional” for the 1996, 2001, 2002 and 2003 seasons and “Favorite Duet/Group of the Year” in 1999, 2000, 2001.  In 2002, he was inducted into the Grapevine Opry Hall of Fame.  Curtis has sung professionally across the nation performing several styles of music at business and private functions, weddings, funerals, fairs, festivals, concerts, as well as spots on television and radio for special events.  He also performs as band director and is part of the vocal worship team in his home church.
